Are Presidential Gold Coins Worth Buying?

I’ve heard that the price of gold is really high now and that owning gold is better than cash. I don’t want to buy gold jewlery that I won’t wear so i was looking into gold coin collections like presidential coins. Am i thinking right or is jewlery the way to go?

I disagree. Collecting gold coins will increase in value over time. The united states mint for example has just released a One-Half Ounce Margaret Taylor Gold Proof Coin. This coin is part of the First Spouse Gold Coin Program that honors the wives of the presidents of the united states.

I am a collector of gold coins and rarities and i guess i do it more for a hobby but want to turn everything over to my grand-kids some day. Think about it.
